creative writing to make sense of life

become a word pilgrim…

Each week we take an inner adventure, creatively exploring an aspect of our lives by working with words and by listening to each other. With a mix of collaborative and written exercises related to life’s themes and challenges, we explore what is emerging in our lives with creativity, imagination and humour. Delight, encouragement and insights are guaranteed. No writing experience required.

Meet a couple of word pilgrims
claire-hAccording to Claire Hawkins, ‘I never saw myself as a writer yet through attending these classes, I have found a new creative passion. Clare holds an encouraging, safe space and through simple, engaging writing exercises, we respond. I have a new respect for the sounds in words and delight in the alchemy that arises through the creative process of collaborative writing.
Something arises from deep within the soul and I go away making more sense of my feelings and at peace with the world.’

clare-mClare Mackay says, ‘There is a wonderful alchemy that happens in our group. Through collaborative exercises, Clare takes us beyond what any of us expect of ourselves. Then this flows on to the individual writing. It is such a rich and supportive experience, both deep and sincere and very playful. I especially appreciate Clare’s wise containment. There is a real quality of spiritual nourishment.
Such a joy to have this community once a week!’

And you don’t have to be called Claire (in any spelling) to become a word pilgrim, people with other names are also very welcome!
